DIY Christmas Wreaths

Happy New Year everyone! I took a little break from blogging for the holidays, but I wanted to share with you my secret holiday obsession…wreaths! I love them. I love them so much I had three different Christmas wreaths up this year.
The first Christmas wreath I’ve had for a few years. It’s an outside wreath made for outdoors, which is good because we got quite a bit of rain this year.

I love the red berries and the gold pine cones along with the big white flowers. It’s kind of classic but also pretty big and bold.

The next Christmas wreath has been in my family for a while, upwards of 20 years. And this year it was passed down to me! My dad thinks it’s tacky, but I love it. Look at this adorable stuffed moose, how could you not love it?

And last but not least, I found all of these old Christmas lights at a garage sale this year and I just knew I had to make a wreath out of them.

I covered all of the bulbs with glue and red glitter. And basically, I think I’m going to be finding red glitter everywhere in the house for the next six months.

I glued all the bulbs onto a wreath form and then added some fun Christmas tinsel. I sprayed some clear sealant on the bulbs which dulled the glitter a bit, so I think I may re-glitter the wreath next year. But all in all I’m pretty happy with the results.
