Summer Bucket List for Kids – 2019

If your kids are anything like mine (or any other kid during the summer), you’ve no doubt heard the words “I’m bored” already this season. This summer bucket list for kids has over 50 things for your children to do during the hot summer months.

Summer Bucket List for kids

I put together this summer bucket list for kids because I found that my daughter and I were doing the same few things over and over this summer. And whenever I am caught in the heat of the moment (no pun intended), I have no idea how to respond to that oh so often heard complaint: “I’m bored.”

50+ Summertime Activities for Kids

I put together a list of over 50 ideas (55, I believe – to be exact) of things for young kids to do during the summer.

Of course, you don’t have to be a young kid to do all of these things, but some of the stuff might be a little boring for older kids. My daughter is 4.5 (going on 14) and I think these are all activities that she would enjoy.

Summer Bucket List

And even though this is my summer bucket list for 2019, the activities are pretty timeless. There’s nothing too timely on here that you couldn’t do again in five years, for example. (Although some of the things, like watch fireworks, can probably only be done on specific days during the summer.)
