Little known fact about me: I used to hate yoghurt, but now I love it. I’m not sure if I had a traumatic childhood experience with yoghurt or what, but I never used to eat it. One day a couple years back I decided to try it again, and now I eat it almost every day! Today I’m talking about Mountain High Yoghurt and some cool stuff you can do with its tub once you’re done.
Mountain High Yoghurt is all about versatility, and being a multifaceted and sustainably minded product that lives beyond yoghurt. Mountain High can be used in many different ways, throughout the day and week for the whole family. No need to buy multiple yoghurts or dairy products, one tub can go a long way! But don’t throw out that tub when you’re done with the yoghurt!
Mountain High Yoghurt tubs are perfect for storage, whether it’s for a salad, fruit, cookies, soup or leftover pasta. They can also be used for a wide variety of uses outside the kitchen, such as a mini herb garden or flower vase/centerpiece. (Check out the Mountain High Yoghurt Pinterest page for more inspiration.) I used my Mountain High Yoghurt tub to make this awesome pen holder for my office.
All I did was cover my empty Mountain High Yoghurt tub with some scrapbook paper, then I finished it with some ribbon and a pretty piece of jewelry I found in the clearance section at the craft store. Voila! You’re good to go.
And you’re good to go when it comes to Mountain High Yoghurt too! Made using a traditional European method, Mountain High mixes milk and cultures together and puts the combination into the same cups that will be shipped to the store later. The cups sit in a warm room for several hours while the cultures work their magic: thickening the yoghurt and giving it its distinct creaminess and tang. Since Mountain High only uses cultures to thicken their yoghurt, they don’t need to add any gelatin or funny stuff. And it’s not just any milk they use, either. Because Mountain High wants the milk to taste perfect, they look for farms where they never treat the cows with growth hormones and all of their products are made with just a few simple ingredients. All of this simplicity makes Mountain High awesome!
Mountain High truly is versatile and wholesome yoghurt at a great price! And now you can get it at an even better price! Subscribe to the Mountain High Yoghurt monthly newsletter here (scroll to the bottom to subscribe) and receive a coupon to save $1.00 when you buy 2 tubs.

P.S. I know you’ve been wondering this through this whole post: Why does Mountain High Yoghurt spell it “yogHurt”?
Yoghurt or Yogurt – both spellings can actually be found in the dictionary. “Yoghurt” is more similar to how the word is spelled in many European countries, however. Since it was first produced back in the 1970s, Mountain High Yoghurt has been made the Old World way (it slowly turns into yoghurt while sitting in the cup) so the founders spelled yoghurt with an “h.” Today, Mountain High considers the “h” to stand for healthy lifestyle or for the hundreds of ways you can use Mountain High Yoghurt to add nutrition to any recipe or meal!
