DIY Patriotic Wreath from Dollar Tree Materials

Okay, so I have a long history of making wreaths. I just love wreaths. They’re like my favorite way of decorating, because you just throw a wreath on the front door, and your house can totally be a mess, and everyone’s still like, “Oh, you’re so festive.” So I made this patriotic wreath that can work for all summer – from Memorial Day through Fourth of July to Labor Day – one wreath for three holidays – badda bing badda boom! And I made it all from Dollar Tree supplies, so it only cost me $7!

I got this awesome patriotic duct tape from Dollar Tree and I used it to tape together a pool noodle (also from Dollar Tree) into a wreath form. This is probably the cheapest “big” wreath form you can find anywhere. So stock up on your pool noodles from Dollar Tree now, and you’ll be set on wreath forms for the rest of the year. I think I bought like, six of them, just to get me through Christmas alone.

If you want an easier time of placing the finished wreath on your door (or wall), you’ll want to slice the pool noodle in half. I’m more of a craft by the seat of my pants kind of girl, so I didn’t cut it – but it still looks great!

Completely wrap the pool noodle in your chosen decorative tape, and then you can start adding on the patriotic decorations! As I said before, I got all of these decorations at Dollar Tree – they have a really good selection of Fourth of July decorations and stuff for crafting (and they’re not even paying me to say that). I think I made this wreath in about 10 minutes, and it was completely done with the glue drying in about an hour. You really can’t beat that time/money investment for a good sturdy wreath!
